Giants Cup

Giants Cup  is a multiteam event from FTP that has succeeded not only in developing relations among the FTP managers, but also in developing the managerial skills of the newbies. Giants Cup is usually conducted on Sundays and the Start of the tournament usually coincides with the 7th-8th round of the pavilion Cup. Initially Teams need to register (which is done in the forums) their name indicating their interest for participation. The Registered teams need to see that they keep their Sundays free of Friendlies other than those related to Giants cup after the Pavilion Cup (You are free to play friendlies on Thursdays and on Sundays upto the start of Giants Cup).

The teams will be taken in for bidding after properly stratifying them into Groups and following the bidding process will be allocated into one of the six teams participating in the Giants Cup. Once the bidding process is over the captain of your team will take over and you can discuss strategies in strengthening your team before the Giants cup starts. you need to login into the game frequently for any mails your captain may have sent and you need to visit the forums and the Blog for updates. Once the Tournament starts the respective captains will notify you on whom you need to challenge and what strategy is best to follow. The Schedule for each week will be posted in the forums and you need to be regular in FTP to accept or Issue Challenges. The cup will run for 5 weeks after which the best 2 placed teams will face each other in the final. 

There are many prizes to be won.... So dont loose out. All managers need to be active and in constant touch with the Captains. If any team walks out in the middle.... they will be replaced and they will not be considered for the prizemoney in case their team wins. Also they will lose the chance to play the Giants Cup next season.

Giants Cup 5

Format: 8 Franchises fighting each other once in 7 rounds with Pre-decided Pitch with Random Weather. [Pitches will be decided by sanmath’s formula of getting top 3 pitches preferences from all 8 captains]. After 7 rounds the topper of the Table will be the Giants Cup winner.

Tournament Length: 7 Weeks
